The Riptide Movement
Dublin rock band the Riptide Movement are renowned for their phenomenal live shows, a regular feature on the live Irish music & festival scene, they have played sold out shows all over Ireland including Whelans, the Academy main room and the Olympia Theatre Dublin in November 2012, they have also toured extensively in the UK, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Russia and even India and have also supported many high profile acts including Bob Dylan in London & Bon Jovi in the RDS.
The Riptide Movement released sophomore album 'Keep on keepin' on' in 2012 to rave reviews from the critics, the album charted at number 6 in the official Irish albums chart and picked up 'Best Irish album of 2012' at the ERIC awards in January 2013.
Their are currently working on their 3rd album scheduled for release in October 2013, a nationwide tour begins in May 2013 including two dates in the Olympia theatre Dublin on May 24th & 25th, 2013 will also see them play a host of high profile European festivals over the summer, dates will be announced shortly.
